SCHOOL CURRICULUM

  • The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. The medium of instruction is English and the Second Language      for all classes is Hindi.
  • The syllabus for Classes I to VIII is according to the guidelines laid down by the NCERT. Physical Education is an essential part of the      curriculum.
  • Sanskrit is taught as the third language in Classes VI to VIII. Computer Science is a compulsory subject for Classes I to VIII. Art and     Craft, Music , Dance, , Yoga are also taught.
  • For Classes IX to XII the syllabus prescribed by the CBSE is followed.
  • Work Experience, Physical & Health Education and Art Education are part of the syllabus.
  • SCHOOL RULES & DISCIPLINES

    1. Every child should possess a copy of the School diary which should be brought to school every day.
    2. On Class days every pupil is expected to wear the uniform prescribed for the season.
    3. The school day commences with the school assembly at which all students must be present.
        At the first assembly bell there must be perfect silence in the school building and on the grounds. The students will then     proceed in orderly formation to the place of assembly. They will take up an attitude of prayerful silence and join their     hands in asking God to bless their day.
    5. Late comers will be expelled for two days in a month after three warnings.
    6. Attendance will be taken at the beginning of the morning session and at any time during the day. Onlystudents who have 75     % of the number of workings daywill be allowed to sit for the annual examination.
    7. Particular note is being taken of students who absent themselves during the period before any tests or examination. A fine of     Rs. 10/- perday will be levied if a medical certificate of letter, which has to be countersigned by the Principal or     Vice-  Principal is not submitted by the absentee, on his/her return to school.
    8. Punctuality is expected at every class.
    9. Any student found outside the school premisses during school hours without permission will be expelled for at least one     week. Any repetition of this offence will result in removal.
    10. Any class/group found guilty of any form of mass absenteeism either before examinations or for any particular function, will     have the same penalty imposed on them as in Serial No. 9
    11. Students have strict instructions not to eat anything from the vendors at the school gets. Action will be taken against any     student found guilty of violating this rule.
    12. When the bell rings at the end of the recess, students will assemble in the place appointed in silence and in order and then     proceed to their classrooms.
    13. Running, playing and shouting is forbidden in the school building during study hours.
    14. During the last period of the day, no student will be allowed to leave the classroom.
    15. No student will be allowed to go home during class hours unless a duly authorised person, with a letter from the     parents/Guardian comes to take him/her for genuine reasons. The parent/guardian should attest the signature of the person     sent for taking the child.
    16. Exemption from Physical Education is permitted only for serious health reasons and with a medical certificate. Students     who have obtained exemption Must nevertheless accompany the class to the field.
    17. No collection of money may be done is class without the prior knowledge of the Principal.
    18. Any kind of damage done to the school property must be remedied at the cost of the offender.
    19. No book (other then text books or library books), Magazines, paper, transistors, radios or play equipment may be brought to     the school without the Principal'swritten permission.
    20. The school authorities have the right to dismiss students for any of the following reasons without
    warning : (a) Immoral behavior.
    (b) Habitual contempt shown to the school authorities.
    (c) Deliberate destruction of the school property.
    21. For the following reasons the students are liable to be punished according to the discretion to the school authorities.
    (a) Repeated dishonesty.
    (b) Persistent mischief among students.
    (c) Confirmed laziness.
    (d) Fight in the school premises before, during or after School hours.
    (e) Habitual unpunctuality/indiscipline.
    (f) Irregular attendance.
    (g) Insubordination to school staff.
    22. To prevent their children form being inconvenienced the parents are requested to note that the following will have to be      sent, the school disclaiming all responsibility.
    (a) Those who do not bring back in time duly signed progress reports, teacher's remarks etc.
    (b) Those suffering from a disease at the contagious or infectious stage. Similar action may be taken if a student does not do      his Home Work rather etc; or if he fails to bring an entry in the Absence Record the day of unauthorized absence.
    23. Presents to teachers or demonstrations in their honour are not allowed without the special permission of the Principal.
    24. A notice of 2 days must be give for any certificate or document required from the school.
